Set within a historic 17th-century Dutch house in picturesque Central Amsterdam, Super Lyan reimagines the familiar, bringing classical ideas and flavours into the modern day, reflecting the city’s dynamic culture and optimism. Super Lyan is the first international venue from Mr Lyan and the team behind the award-winning Seed Library, Silver Lyan, Lyaness, and more. A casual cocktail bar with warm service, we offer a curated selection of cocktails, beers, wine, and bites late into the night.

We have areas available for group bookings (8+), but we always keep space for walk-ins! Pop in Wednesday - Sunday, 17.00 -01.00.

In both Amsterdam and across the country, communities define the rhythm of life, each weaving a unique thread into the fabric of our cities and countryside. From the ingenuity of farmers revolutionising growing techniques, to the vibrant beats of the music scene, and the rich traditions of fishing villages and Surinamese gatherings, our new menu is a tribute to the resilience and diversity that colours the streets of Amsterdam and communities throughout the Netherlands.

Super Lyan Turns Five!

Important birthdays happen in increments of five – half a decade, over 1,800 days, and that warrants a party! On May 8th from 8pm we’ll be reminiscing on the past five years and making memories for those that lie ahead. We’ve invited some of our previous team members – people who’ve played an important part in our story – and we’ll have some very special guest bartenders, too. We’ve created a celebratory cocktail menu, which includes a welcome drink on the house, and we’ll have balloons, a photo booth, a DJ til late, and Lyan surprises on the night!

We feel super lucky to be able to celebrate with you, and we plan on making this a night to remember. Big thanks for the love and support from 2019 - 2024 and beyond. This is a walk-in-only event, and everyone’s invited – yes, that means you!

Super Lyan x Fabel Friet

You’ve likely seen the queues at Fabel Friet. They’ve built an incredible reputation for their highly sought-after fries — a once humble snack elevated to cult status. Located in Runstraat, Nine Streets, they serve authentic Dutch fries with a variety of delicious sauces and toppings, and they source the finest quality Agria potatoes from Dutch soil, freshly cut and fried twice. If you can’t beat them, join them, or — even better — collaborate! We’ve partnered with Fabel Friet to offer an adapted, limited edition version of their best seller, available exclusively at Super Lyan — a potato croquette with homemade truffle mayonnaise and freshly grated parmesan cheese.

It’s been specifically created to enjoy alongside our cocktails, and it’s available from February 9th onward – one of Amsterdam’s most famous and coveted food vendors, now available at Super Lyan!
